If someone sends you a gift but you can't see it in your notifications, the problem may be that you have turned off notifications about new gifts. To check and fix it:

1. in the list of sections on the left, select "Settings";
2. Open the Notifications and alerts subsection;
3. click the New gift tab;
4. make sure you have "Immediately" selected for Show similar notifications and there is the You haven't yet selected friends whose gifts you don't want to be notified about line;
5. save the changes.

Please note that if unaccepted gifts disappeared in Notifications, or you accidentally closed the notification, there is no reason not worry. You need to exit Notifications, go to the "Gifts" – "My" – "Unaccepted" section and receive these gifts there.
